M/s B.Y. Industries was established in April 1974, with a commitment to offer best of the class fabricated items to customers in a small shed.

From the beginning it's a partnership firm under the Partnership Act. The main partners & pioneers of the firm are Mr. P. A. BAGEWADI, B.E (Mech.) and Mr. S. K. Yatagiri, B.E (Mech.). In the initial stage, grill work and other items were fabricated. When this was established they started producing other quality products. In 1976 they thought of going for expansion and started manufacturing M.S. Special for Cement pipes. These were required for water supply and irrigation project.

We are the only recognized SSI suppliers of M S Specials products in Karnataka, Goa and south part of Maharashtra.

Till 1980 we were situated in rented building, in 1981 own land was purchased and constructed “A Class” manufacturing facility at Belgaum.

In 1985 we diverted the line of activity towards repairs and maintenance of sugar factory equipment and machines.

In 1993 manufacturing of sugar equipments was started and supplied to sugar industries.

In 1997 manufacturing of metal tanks, pipes and fabricated items for new sugar industries was initiated. During these periods we have manufactured Equipments for Cement & Steel Industries. All over India we are supplying our different products to Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, U.P., Tamilnadu etc. Also we have exported sugar equipments to Nepal and Bangladesh through other agencies

From 1999 we started working for Heavy Structural Projects. We have executed projects for Punj Lloyd for 4-lane Highway project.

From 2001 we started batch production for Otis Elevators components like Bed plates used for elevators traction machine & supplying till date.

Mr. Praveen Yatagiri (BE Mech) Joined the company.

In 2007 Mr. Sandeep Bagewadi ( BE Mech) with 7+ years for rich experience with GE Joined the Company.

With 2nd young Generation joining formulated

Our New Strategy - diversification on Product Manufacturing, thus we started exploring new Clients. Internal developments like system implementation for Quality and manufacturing process started. We are now listed with 2 new clients ref list of clients. Record of 20 Equipments for Sugar Plants (Pug Mill & Magma Mixer) were manufactured and dispatched.

In 2008 First CNC machine was Introduced i.e. CNC Oxy-Fuel Profile cutting. New CO2 m/c was also added to the welding line. Road map for ISO 9001:2000 is planned.

In 2009 Got ISO 9001:2008 Certification form TUV-NORD. Welding process / Welder Certification Done. Got Import Export Lenience & Developing Sheet metal components for France Company. Suzlon Wind Power and Wagner Trident - 2 New Clients Added to our list.

In 2010 Developed New customers - Putzmeister Concrete Pumps Ltd & Various Mining Products

From 2017 major developments happened & along with Putzmeister Concrete Pumps Ltd

We could able to develop “ BATCHING PLANT” for construction equipment.

In 2018 UNIT-2 was started separately for HEAVY Fabrication with in-house shot blasting & painting facility with Material handling equipments.

In 2019 CNC LASER CUTTING was installed first in Belgaum , giving an technological advantage for various Fabrication items to be developed.

We were able to sustain the pandemic losses & developed new customers & processes certified

We got ISO-3834-2 Welding Process certification by TUV.

A proud moment for the B Y Team as one of our Partner Mr. Sandeep Bagewadi got elected as Joint Secretary at Belgaum District Small Scale Industries Association (BDSSIA)
